The Oregon City Swim Team foursome of Lainey Visscher, Robin Pinger, Laura Laderoute and Alissa Frazier lowered the 13-14 girls 400 medley relay record at the 11 & Over Championships. The girls combined for a time of 4:32.14, bettering THSC's 2011 record 4:32.94.

The Team will be competing in Grand Junction Colorado, August 7-11.  Congratulation and good luck athletes and coaches.

There has been a change to the check-in and seeding procedures for 11 & overs. All individual events 200 meters and shorter will be pre-seeded, regardless of swimmers' ages. All relays as well as individual events 400 meters and longer will be deck seeded, with check-in as stated in the meet information.

Oregon Swimming sent 20 swimmers to the Olympic trials. Jacob Pebley or Corvallis was the lone swimmer to move out of the prelims with second swims in the 100 and 200 backstroke. Jacob placed 16th in the semi-finals of the 100 back and 4th in the 200 back. His 4th place finish earned him a spot in the finals where he ended up 7th with a 1:59.46. Morgan Scroggy, who grew up swimming for Tualatin Hills also moved out of the prelims, with a 5th place swim in the 200 free. She ended up placing 13th in the semi-final, swimming only 3-tenths slower than her prelim time. Connor McDonald, who grew up swimming for Hillsboro HEAT earned a second swim in the 200 backstroke, placing 13th in the semi-final with a 2:01.46.
