Account to support Mark Maxwell

Members of the Yawama Swim Team have established an account to help support Mark Maxwell's family and help cover the cost of medical bills. Donations can be made to the "Mark Maxwell Donation Account" at any branch of the US Bank.

OSI Record set at Western Zones

August 26, 2004

Bella Smith from Bend set a new record in the 11-12 girls 50M breaststroke at the Zone meet in 36.01. The the old record was 36.09 set in 1990.
Congratulations Bella.

OSI Records Set at Junior Nationals

August 25, 2004

Three new OSI Records were set at the Junior National Championships at Stanford University. Kim Jasmer of South Coast Aquatic Team set two new records, lowering both the 17-18 50 Free and 100 Free. Her time in the 50 free of 26.73 bettered the old record of 26.81 set in 1989. Kim's 100 free record of 57.60 lowered 1976 Olympian Kim Peyton's record set in 1974.

Logan Storie of Covallis Aquatic Team lowered the 15-16 boys 400 free record to 4:03.42.
