Woodburn Barracuda Swim Team cancelled the Thanksgiving meet, scheduled for November 19-20.

Officials Clinics will be held Saturday, October 1 at the Pacific University In Forest Grove.  All meetings are in Marsh Hall and Price Hall.  Sign in will be at Price Hall room 202.  Map on the Pacific U. website http://www.pacificu.edu/about/location/campusmap.cfm#MapIndex

1:00PM - 4:00PM - General Climic, Stroke and Turn clinic, Starter Clinic and Electronic Timing Clinic.

All officals are encouraged to attend a clinic for initial certification and advancement.  All officials are welcome to the general clinic. Contact the Oregon Swimming office at office@oregonswimming.org if you are planning to attend and for more information. 

The 2011 Oregon Swimming House of Delegates meeting will be at the Pacific Universy Multi Purpose Room.
Check in at 8:30AM, Meeting start at 9:00AM.

Safety Training for Swim Coaches will be Friday September 30, 5PM at the Forest Grove pool - Fee $50 per person

A golf tournament as a fundraiser to help cover the ongoing costs of Patti Ludwig's care will be held at Indian Creek Golf Course in Hood River on September 24. 
Patti is doing great - improvements in her physical abilities, small hints that her language expression is improving, and fairly good spirits despite her roller coaster of physical and language challenges. She still requires supervision 24 hours per day, numerous medicines and physical therapies. This tournament is put on to raise funds to help directly cover the costs of her care. 
The family appreciates all the love and support you've given for Patti over the last year - they definitely couldn't have come this far without you. Thank you for considering supporting the tournament.

The Athlete Protection Training is now available on the USA Swimming website. All non athlete members are required to pass the training before we can issue 2012 membership cards. The training takes about 45 minutes and is free. You have to be registered to take the training and registration files will be updated by USA Swimming. 

The preview of Oregon Swimming's annual Top 5 list is now available. Please review the list and send any corrections to office@oregonswimming.org. Invitations will be mailed 2-3 weeks before the ceremony.
