Male Coach Needed for All Star TeamNovember 22, 2011 We are in need of a male coach to join the 2012 Oregon All Star and Zone team staff. Award Ceremony in CanbyNovember 20, 2011 Oregon Swimming honored the 2010/2011 top 5 athletes at the award ceremony in Canby. They were all called up on the stage and received a trophy and patch. Also mentioned were the OSI records and USA Swimming top 10 times. Awards were given to: Dick Parker offficials award - Julie Carpenter - MAC Congratulations to all athletes and coaches for a job well done!!!! 2011 Awards Ceremony in CanbyNovember 15, 2011 This year the award ceremony is Sunday, November 20 at the Richard R Brown Fine Arts Center, Canby High School, 720 SW Fourth Ave, Canby OR 97013. Officials needed for College Meet in McMinnvilleNovember 10, 2011 Linfield College is hosting the NW Invitational Relays meet on November 18th and 19th. This is a Division III college invitational meet. We are looking for help with officiating as this would be an approved meet under USA Swimming guidelines. It's time to start thinking about the 2012 Pacific Coast All Star meet. The meet will be in Langley BC, Canada January 7th-8th, 2012. All swimmers applying this year are required to have a valid passport, and provide proof of that passport when sending applications into the Oregon Swimming office. The meet will be swum in short course meters. You can find applications for the Oregon All Star team attached to the Oregon Swimming website. Applications are due by December 14, 2011. The Lincoln City Pumpkin Sprint is looking for officials (especially those certified as Starter) for November 12 and 13th. The meet ends early each afternoon allowing plenty of time to enjoy the beach. Portland Aquatic Club in need of ET's for MeetNovember 1, 2011 Portland Aquatic Club is in need of certified ET's for Session one and Session five of the swim meet this weekend at Lewis and Clark. If you are interested in helping out please email Daniel Donohue at <ddonohue@pdx.edu>. Session one is on Friday night with warm-ups at 4 pm, meet from 5- 8:30 pm.
