8/7/2012 - 2012 Oregon Swimming Award nominations

Each year Oregon Swimming is asking for Nominations for the Awards listed below.  Nominations should be in the office by September 21 and each club is entitled to one vote at the Houde of Delegates Meeting, September 30.  Awards will be presented at the annual Award Ceremony in November.  Send your nominations with a list of contributions to office@oregonswimming.org.

James J Richardson Award - presented to an outstanding long term contributor to the sport of swimming
United States Swimming Outstanding Service Award - presented to a member of Oregon Swimming for exemplary service or contributions during the past year.
Jon Arlin Adapted Award  - presented to a member of Oregon Swimming who makes a significant contribution in the area of adapred aquatics.
Media Award - for outstanding support to Oregon Competitive Swimming - Present a folder, scrapbook or poster with articles about swimming at the house of delegates meeting.

Athletes and coaches of the year will be nominated and voted on at the Oregon Swim Coaches Association meeting, September 29. 
The Dick Parker officials award recipient will be selected by the officials committee.
