Western Zone Championships

February 19, 2007

Western Zone Championships will be held in Farmingtion NM August 7-11, 2007. The application to officiate is posted on the main page of the OSI web site in both pdf and Word format. The Word format should be used to submit your application via email. Deadline for assigned positions is June 30, 2007 and July 31 for all other positions.

This is a fun meet to officiate and a great experience. I recommend it highly. By the way, the Farmington venue is indoors and I am told it has good climate control features. Our own Judy L'Roy is the Meet Referee.

Help Needed This Weekend

February 1, 2007

This from Coach Zell:

We have a super group of 93 10 & Under swimmers that could use your help this Saturday morning at Woodburn. Currently we are not legal with the number of officials we have. We need at least 2 and it would be really great to get 3 - 4 officials to help us out from 8am - 10:45am at the Woodburn Memorial Aquatic Center. It's a short session and should be allot of fun.

The pool is located at 190 Oak Street, Woodburn, Or. 97071

My phone number is 503.982.2302, our meet referee is Sue Fuller (fullcourt01@comcast.net). All the other sessions are covered except this one. We could really use some help. We have been told we offer some of the finest food around in our Hospitality!

Thank you, Coach Zell, WBST
