How to Submit Results

HTML Results  -  Results Database - Submit Online

Oregon Swimming requires results be sent in electronic form for inclusion in the OSI qualifiers database. In addition, an HTML file is appreciated for display on the OSI website. This document describes step by step how to make these result files.

HTML Results

To create an HTML file for the OSI Website, click on the Reports menu in Meet Manager. Select Reports. You will see the screen shown below. Under Columns/Format, select Flat HTML.

You can choose to create a results file for the entire meet, or make separate pages for each session. Make your choice and then click on Select All. Once the events are highlighted in yellow, click on Create Report. Due to privacy issues, do not include the athlete's USA Swimming number.

You will be asked to save the file. Save the file where ever you want, but remember to note the location. After clicking SAVE, you will receive a message saying the file was copied successfully.

After making the HTML files, use our on-line submission form.

Results Database

The CommLink file needed to import meet results into Oregon Swimming's Times Database and USA Swimming's SWIMS Database can be created by clicking on File / Export / Results for Team Manager or SWIMS using Meet Manager.

You will then see the screen at bottom. Unless you are sure that all teams had correctly identified LSCs, leave the LSC box blank. Select the options as shown in the figure before clicking OK.

After the export is complete, click OK and then save the file to a location of your choice. When completed, use our on-line submission form to send the results to Oregon Swimming.
